We went to the well know crab races. 75-100 or so people paid $2 a peice to pick a hermit crab & name it. We each picked one & named them E & O (there were 2 & so are the twins Owen & Elijah). The draw 3 circles put the crabs in 2 buckets & turn them upside down in the center circle. 1st 3 over the line wins. 3 heats of this.
You can not move or point. It is so weird that if you point at a hermit crab it will stop moving. I thought that was odd but we tested it. The Big "O" won & prizes ranged from $50 gift cards to local resturaunts, favorite prizes were $25 bar tab gift cards at their beachside bar or bottles of Cruzan rum. All kids under 12 got prizes of snorkle gear, sand buckets, water guns & etc - their choice. We had fun & the guys running the race were excited that one of the twins won. The guy & I danced with our arms making a big O over our heads. Maybe you had to be there. haha!

All I can say is wow...what a great vacation! It looks like you had a ton of fun and saw the whole island. What a great experience for your 35th wedding anniversary! It is a beautiful place...although hotter than I would like...hahaha..I love my air conditioning or a really good ocean breeze!
I forgot...I love the sign over you that says "The Natual Jewel" and there you are...hahaha! Too cute!
i think the best pic's on here are uncle mark in the scuba mask and u under the "natural jewel" sign. i mean the beach is where everyone feels most natural, u just got really lucky and found a sign that said that! hahaha :D
I am SO glad that you and Dad got to take such a fun and relaxing trip! You guys deserved it. We love you!
